About Me

My photo
Jody OLoughlin
For now I'm looking for support to get through this "Atypcial Facial Pain" I've been diagnosed with and appreciate all your input and support. Prior to being hit with this condition, I used my dual Master's Degree in Management and Human Resource Development to teach others about the human aspect of the work place. I see the workplace as a major investment in your time and the time of others so, I want to help people learn to work better together. I was an adjunct faculty member at Webster University from August, 2005 until last March, 2012 when I had to cancel the courses I was scheduled to teach because of this "Atypical Facial Pain." I also had to leave my full-time employment in the field of IT. My career life as I knew it is gone. I'm not sure if I'll ever have it back or if I will have to reinvent myself. One blessing I do have though, is a loving, supportive husband and family who keep they're prayers and hopes high for a full recovery.
